F1 Abu Dhabi
Max Verstappen of Red Bull once again dominated the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022, the season-ending Formula One race, by taking the lead from pole to checkered flag.
The Dutchman walked to his second consecutive championship in a season in which he once again proved unbeatable.
Red Bull had already won the race’s constructors’ championship, but Ferrari was attempting to hold off Mercedes for second place. Charles Leclerc’s P2 result helped the renowned Italian team succeed in this endeavor.
Leclerc finished ahead of Sergio Perez, who pushed the Monegasque all the way to the finish line, in the drivers’ world championship and P2 overall.
Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel also had a memorable day because he ended his illustrious career in the sport by placing in the points. The four-time world champion started from position 10 on the grid before entertaining spectators by driving to the finish line and performing donuts to mark the end of his career.
It was less favorable news for Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton who was forced to retire at the conclusion of the race due to a car issue, had far less favorable news.
For the last time, Carlos Sainz, Daniel Ricciardo, George Russell, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, and Lance Stroll all placed in the points this season.

Once again, no one near Verstappen
Many had hoped that there would be a fight for the season-ending race win in Abu Dhabi, despite the fact that one driver had been dominant in the world championship race for the entire year.
Even after winning the pole position this weekend, Verstappen was going to face pressure because Perez and Leclerc appeared to be quick in qualifying.
In spite of Perez’s attempt to lunge into the first corner of the race, nobody appeared to be close to stealing the victory from him once more.
Verstappen eventually resumed his customary dominant speed, leading to his amazing 15th victory of the season.
